Filming for The Banshees of Inisherin took place on Achill Island and Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands. Colin Farrell (who plays Pádraic) and Barry Keoghan (Dominic) at Dún Aonghasa on Inis Mór. The film is set on an imaginary Irish island in 1923 during the Civil War. Both of these places can be included in your itinerary, if you so desire. If you’ve seen the movie, you know the scenery is gorgeous. Just a little reminder to anyone who may be interested. We have two fixed Ladies only tours this coming summer, one in May, from 8th - 17th. And, one in July, from 10th - 19th.

And the first to cross the threshold of the Isle of hope and tears, was Annie Moore from Ireland, who was all of 15 years.
The statue of Annie and her brothers, is on the dock at Cobh, county Cork, where the ship sailed out from.
