------------------------------------------ From the industry--------------------
Last Week Bus and Coach Operators from all Parts of Dublin took part in a Guard of Honour for Bart Watt. Bart was well known in the Bus and Coach Circles all over Ireland devoting his life to Buses. Bart will be fondly remembered by his many friends in the industry. Here are just some of the condolences passed on by operators throughout the country. Our thoughts are with The Watt Family at this very hard time.
Some contributions and comment from the industry
Bart was one of the 1st bus men i remember as a child he shared a yard in walkinstown with my Dad and uncle. Bart was always a very hard working man who always had a smile and a witty remark. He passed on his hard work ethic to his sons who I worked beside for many years and am glad to call friends On behalf of all at the former Kerrigan Coaches I would like to pass on my sincere condolences to all of The Watt family

The Watt Family shared a yard with our family business in Perrystown Dublin in the 1980s 1990s, a very hard-working family, Bart Watt had great work ethic, I would always meet Bart at the same time on the Greenhill’s Road on his school service the bus full, no social distance in those days, and he always had a wave and smile. Bart Watt was a fine example of sweating his assets, from early morning factory runs then on to school run, and in-between private hire /swimming contracts, the weekend he always had built up a great customer base and then you would see his vehicles on language school work and private hire at he was everywhere. It’s great to see the name continuing into the future. Condolence to his family to Peter and Philip at this time may your dad rest in peace

I learned yesterday of the passing of Bart Watt and I and the team at J.F.Dunne Insurances wish to express our sincere sympathy to Bart's family. Bart was one of the first clients of the J.F.Dunne Insurances bus and coach insurance product back in the 1980's and he was a consistent supporter of this unique insurance concept. Bart was also a huge supporter of FOTO and John Dunne and he and John had many chats about the issues facing bus and coach operators down the years.
Bart had many friends in the bus and coach industry and his gained experience was much sought after. He will be missed and remembered with respect and his generous friendship.
