Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is the largest group involved in the preservation and promotion of Ir And if you’re not sure, how about just going along to listen?
Because we’re so many different things to different people, it can be hard to keep track of the true scope of our activities! You might have been involved with a Comhaltas event and not even known it. If you’re a student of Irish music, you might know about the music, dance and language classes that we teach through our network of branches. If you’re interested in learning the music, you might wan
t to find which one of our 1,000 weekly classes is closest to you. For musicians who like to play socially, you might be interested in finding a local Comhaltas music session. Audiences around the world have seen our touring groups bringing Irish music, dance and storytelling on annual tours.

The workshops are for Intermediate and Advanced students only.

Taoiseach, Simon Harris arrived in Wexford today to celebrate Comhaltas Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann!
During his visit, the Taoiseach chatted with Fleadh Cheoil Chairperson, Eddie Taaffe and Comhaltas Ardstiúrthóir Dr. Labhrás Ó Murchú about the incredible celebration of Irish culture that has been witnessed on the streets of Loch Gorman over the past six days.
The Taoiseach was also lucky enough to meet some of the talented musicians that make Fleadh Cheoil an unforgettable week 🎶🇮🇪

Comhaltas Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024, the world’s largest celebration of Irish music and language events, is taking place in Wexford Town this week. The event will run until Monday, the 12th of August 2024.
Garda Síochána and Wexford County Council have announced details of the traffic management plan, which will run for the duration of the event.
Please note, normal local routes have changed. See colour code route breakdown listed below for each entry point to the town below along with useful videos to help navigate your journey to the event.

Our Wexford Town Library branch is getting ready to celebrate the Fleadh For All, and we want to let you know about our sensory space.
We will have events on during the day, but there will also be a quiet space available for anyone with sensory needs that just wants a break.

Further applications for available places will be considered onsite in Wexford at St. Peter’s College Secondary School - Y35 P8WT.
The New Registrations/Information Desk will be open on Sunday afternoon 4th Aug from 2.00-3.30pm, reopening on Monday 5th Aug at 8.45am. Places will be allocated on a "first come" basis.
