CCUSAโs Practical Training USA ๐บ๐ธ program is designed to allow foreign professionals to come to the United States to gain exposure to U.S. culture and receive training in U.S. business practices in their chosen occupational field!
Two of our participants Andre F. and Andre S. from Brazil have been in the country for the past 13 months and will be finishing their program this year! Here is what Andre F. had to say about their experience:
โAndre and I have had the chance to participate in a Management, Youth Development, Non-Profit Management, and Marketing Trainee program at a Summer Camp for people with disabilities in the state of Maryland. During this time we were able to learn a lot about American organizational culture while being part of incredible improvement projects for the Camp, which led us to take on the coordination of placements and the program offered by the camp.
I wish everyone had the opportunity to be in such a diverse, inclusive, and multicultural environment at least once in their life because at least for both of us, this experience will be unforgettable! We couldnโt be more grateful for everything we experienced and learned!โ

Important reminder for our travelers to Canada! ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ
At your first Canadian arrival airport, you will apply for your work permit. Plan for it to take a few hours when you first arrive. While there are different work permits, everyone applies at the airport when they land coming through immigration. Don't leave the passport control without a work permit!
