Lime cottage is one of my favourites as despite its loud colourful exterior the interior is calm and comfortable. With one bedroom a bathroom and a large living room and kitchen. Even a sofa bed and a fireplace. I love it.

🌊🎉 Adventure Alert: Cliffs of Moher with Doolin Ferry! 🎉🌊

What a phenomenal day out at sea! We kicked off our adventure with Doolin Ferry, cruising right up to the legendary Cliffs of Moher. The best views are undeniably from the water – you really feel the cliffs’ towering presence as they rise dramatically over 700 feet above the Atlantic! 🌊🏞

As we glided along, a group of playful dolphins decided to briefly join us, weaving in and out of the waves – it felt like they were guiding us on our journey! No pics sadly but they are often spotted so you will have to see for yourself. 🐬

The cliffs are not only a natural wonder but steeped in history too. Did you know they formed over 320 million years ago during the Carboniferous period? And yes, these are the very cliffs featured in the Harry Potter films – magic felt real as we sailed past! 🧙‍♂️✨

We also spotted a flurry of puffins, adding a splash of charm to the rugged cliffs with their colorful beaks and clumsy landings. 🐦

The sunlight painted the cliffs in the most spectacular hues, making our experience feel like a living postcard. Doolin Ferry truly delivered the best seat in the house for this natural spectacle.

🛠️ Keith, once a builder who crafted hundreds of homes across Canada, found his new project in the rolling hills of Ireland. Nine years ago, when he met Lorraine, his passport had only three stamps—now it boasts 61! Together, they’re proof that it’s never too late to embark on new adventures.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 While their six grown kids and adorable four-year-old grandchild all live in Canada, it’s never lonely. Lorraine and Keith split their time between Canada and Ireland, and with five spacious cottages, there’s always room for family reunions!
