Managed to avoid the cops (at least 5 checkpoints a day) for almost two weeks in our cleverly disguised 'normal' tuk-tuk. Twice in two days we get pulled over. First one needed a bribe to forget about nothing after talking to the owner, the second did us for driving on the motorway. He let us off cause we were nice and asked about his kids and were Irish. He restored my faith in the Sri Lankan police force. Kinda

Almost a 50% record the other day in Iran. 7 police speed tripods and pulled over 3 times.Not as good as Meat Loaf but it ain't bad.
