Meet Abigail Devine, Kayna Kennedy, and Judith Joby - three remarkable students from Loreto College in Bray, now famously known as 'The Pebble People'. These talented teens, with support from VisitWicklow.ie, are on a mission to inspire all Swifties to get a and follow in Taylor Swift’s footsteps.

Back in 2022 Taylor released her song "Sweet Nothing" subtly referencing Wicklow and a special pebble she collected from a Wicklow beach. She wonders, “Does it ever miss Wicklow sometimes?”

Thus, 'The Pebble People' were born, crafting unique rock and pebble artworks as part of their TY Mini Company project 🙌

We’re thrilled to introduce Charleen and Carmen, two adventurous au-pairs who have become Wicklow’s latest Passport Ambassadors!

Over the past few months, Charleen and Carmen have explored the stunning landscapes of Co. Wicklow, collecting an impressive 21 stamps along the way.

In our latest interview, Charleen shared their exciting journey in the Garden of Ireland. Since arriving in Ireland in 2023 to work as an au-pair, Charleen received a welcome bag from her host family, which included the Wicklow Passport. With a rented car, she and Carmen set off on their mission to collect stamps.

Their top tip for fellow adventurers?

You will be taken on a guided farm walk and meet all the farm animals, cows, calves, sheep, lambs and even the farm dog. Don’t worry if you’re nervous about meeting any of these animals as you can get as close as possible or remain behind the safety of a stock-proof fence.
