IGT once again had the privilege of organizing the Board of Governors for the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
The planning of the 52th Board of Governors culminated in 4 days packed with activities, meetings and events which we were proud to be part of.

We would like to share with you the appointment of our new leadership team of Co-CEO’s Kim Melchior and Lior Mahtabi.

Combined, Kim and Lior have almost 35 years of seniority at IGT and as VP’s up until now, they have been integrally involved in all aspects of our operation. In fact, they are part of the heart and soul of the company.

Promoting within the ranks of the company also signals the continuation of IGT’s core values such as professionalism and highest standards of service that has been our trade mark since the opening, and we are sure you will join in congratulating Lior and Kim with the appointment.

Happy Jerusalem Day!!!

Although Judaism is an age old religion with holidays throughout the year, Jerusalem Day is a new one that Jews throughout the generations could only have dreamed of. In fact, they actually did when saying Next Year in Jerusalem on the Passover and Yom Kippur.

As we today celebrate the unification of the city, we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as a city open to all.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to this glorious and wonderous place.

These are very exciting days to be in Israel and as we are all getting used to breathing fresh air without Covid-19 masks, we can finally fully enjoy Israel’s beautiful spring.

This week also marks a special date on our calendar as we celebrate the rebirth of the Jewish State with Israel’s 74th Independence Day. Although many are already planning for Israel’s 75th, we can already feel the excitement in the streets as this years celebration @74 is about to begin.

As with every year, we will begin with a national day of mourning remembering all of the more than 24,000 soldiers and victims of terror who sacrificed their lives so that we would be able to continue rebuilding the nation. The fact that Memorial Day is linked to Independence Day is unique to Israel and is a beautiful reminder that without those heroes of the past we would not be living in an independent state today.



All of us at IGT are looking forward to the the upcoming days of commemoration and celebration and of course even more so to welcoming you back to Israel.

We had the pleasure to host the group of Pastor Williamson from Pempa, Texas.
The people in Israel were so happy to see tourists.
Their tour guide Amatzia Segal took a great picture of the group with soldiers they met at the Western wall.

Jerusalem is getting ready for the biggest event of the Israeli film industry.
The 38th Jerusalem Film Festival opening tonight screening more than 200 movies-both local and international.
The festival is taking place at Jerusalem's Cinematheque and outdoor under the stars around the neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
A joyous celebration of culture, movies, art and popcorn...
We truly hope that you will be here with us for next year's festival.

The IGT family congratulates Linoy Ashram for winning the gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics in Tokyo 2020 Olympic games. Linoy is the first Israeli woman ever to win a gold medal at the Olympics.

It happened almost 2000 years ago, but on this very day (the 9th of Av in the Jewish calendar), Jews around the world mourn the destruction of the two temples that stood on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and of which the famous Western Wall is the only remnant.
Jewish history tells us that the temples were destroyed due to lack of unity within the Jewish people.
We are all trying to learn from history and spend these days practicing unity within our people, both in Israel and Diaspora, and of course, to be a light on to all the nations.

We had the opportunity of visiting The "Runaway Circus",
a unique art event that took place at Hansen House in
Jerusalem this week, just five minutes from our office.
Exhibitions, installations and various musical performances, along with circus related interactive creations, attracted many visitors who enjoyed the creative art, as well as Jerusalem's special atmosphere and great food. Photos by-Talia Sivan
