Last night, Hezbollah tried to murder us by launching several rockets, one of which landed just a few meters from our house. As I saw its light and, seconds later, heard the sonic boom, knocking me to the floor and shattering our glass windows, I thought I was going to die. But we (Wea Ruiz Rivero) are alive because of the mercy and grace of God. We must say that the God of the Universe is our helper and shield. We don't know why our lives were spared, but we give all glory, power, and thanks to the God of Israel. He is our avenger.

I hope this message finds you well. I was wondering if I could ask you for your prayers. As you know, Israel is at war, and the situation might worsen throughout the region. We pray that the Lord may have mercy on us, scatter our enemies, confuse them, and put them to shame.

As I mentioned previously, I came to Venezuela to visit my father after the passing of my mother. Many airlines have canceled flights to Israel. I need to be home by August 19th. If I could ask you to pray that my flight is not canceled or delayed and that I can return to Israel on time, I would be very grateful.
