This Hanukkah, we light candles with guests who have already become like family in the hostels of Abraham - families displaced from the south and north of Israel 🕎
Most of our guests have been in the hostel for two months now, since the early days of the war. Even though everyone seems content and at ease, we don't forget that these are days of war, and those dear people have been uprooted from their homes and routines, still uncertain when they can return 🙏

Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate, and we hope that all 138 people abducted by Hamas terrorists will return home quickly and safely!

🇮🇱 Standing Strong Together 🇮🇱

On October 7th, Israel has been attacked in an unprecedented and cruel way. Hamas took us by surprise on a Jewish Holy Day. The border was breached with one objective at hand - murdering Israelis.
In addition, 239 Israelis, including babies, kids, toddlers, women, elderly people, and men, are being held hostage by terrorists associated with Hamas.

Israel is defending itself and exercising its right for protection and self-preservation and is waging war against the Hamas. It seems that we are entering a long-term process in which the government and the army want to defeat Hamas. In addition, of course, the northern front also threatens civilians all around Israel.

🙌 Abraham opened its doors in Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Eilat and hosts free-of-charge families of evacuees from villages and kibbutzim that are on the border with Gaza and the circle of evacuees grows, and we receive requests from cities in the south and north of the country to come and stay with us.

We gladly host these guests and try to take care of all their needs: supportive care, employment for children, food, and more. Civil organizations started to help us and we are grateful for any contribution that comes to help.

It has been more than a month now, and because we see that the situation will go on, we are collectung donations for hosting and caring for the families of the evacuees in Abraham.
