Last week, 80 students from Israel embarked on an educational journey to Poland, exploring the rich and complex history of Jewish life in Europe.

At , we believe Jewish education extends beyond the classroom. Last week, we celebrated the completion of the 15th cohort of the מסע - Masa Israel Journey program at Ayanot!

Over the past six months, our participants have gained hands-on experience through internships at Israeli companies, volunteered to support local farmers, strengthened their Hebrew, and advanced their professional skills - all while forming deep connections with the people and the land of Israel.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with strong interpersonal skills to join our European Tours Department. Experience in admin/operations and familiarity with religious/traditional Jewry are a big plus! Native English is a must, and a European language is an advantage.

This full-time role, based in our Nes Tziona office, involves working with overseas tour groups, handling logistics, reservations, supplier coordination, budget planning, and client communications.

At , we are proud to facilitate life-changing volunteer experiences together with Magen David Adom and מסע - Masa Israel Journey giving participants the opportunity to make a real impact in Israel’s emergency medical system.

One of our recent participants, .morgan00 shared her powerful reflection after completing the program:

“I just wrapped up my month program with Masa and Magen David Adom in Israel. I can’t believe it’s been a month already! How is it that I had to leave so soon??

We learned. We trained. We tested. Then we served.

In addition to our 60-hour course, we learned how to check and prep the ambulances before shift, how to check patients in at the hospital, and how to reset the ambulance after each call. We helped provide medical treatments, as our training permitted. (Some of us) did CPR. We held patients’ hands, gave smiles, and reassured the patient that “MDA is here with you; you’re going to be okay.”

We met some of our patients on one of the worst days of their lives.
We met patients in the middle of the night who had nobody else to help them.
We met patients who required serious interventions and urgent evacuation to a hospital all the way to patients who just needed reassurance that they were okay.
In every case, they were treated with dignity and respect, kindness and compassion. We provided our best care in each situation.

This was my third volunteer trip in the last year. I’m so thankful for these experiences. This trip helped me grow both professionally as well as personally in ways that no professional development workshop ever could. From the learning to the opportunity to interact with עם ישראל in very direct, intimate ways, this program is unmatched.”

As we step into 2025, it’s a great time to look back on the past year. It wasn’t an easy one - the war deeply shook us and left a lasting impact on our nation. Yet, even in the face of hardship, we witnessed incredible resilience. Our nation came together, and travelers continued to visit Israel despite the ongoing war. Many went even further, volunteering their time and energy to support those in need.

We are proud to have welcomed over 10,000 travelers to Israel this year. Their decision to visit Israel during this time is a powerful reminder that, even in the most difficult times, the bond between the Jewish people and Israel remains unbreakable.

As we begin this new year, we hold onto hope - hope for peace, brighter days, and even more opportunities to share Israel’s beauty and spirit with the world.

170 students from Amit High School in Be’er Tuvia recently participated in a meaningful trip to Poland with , exploring the poignant history and profound lessons of the Holocaust. Through visits to memorial sites, historical landmarks, and places of resilience, they engaged deeply with the stories of those who lived, suffered, and persevered during one of humanity’s darkest chapters.

Trips like these are more than educational; they are transformative. They inspire students to reflect on the importance of never forgetting the past, what their Jewish identity means to them, and the role they play in shaping a better future.
