We find ourselves in a moment of great urgency, where our collective efforts can make a significant impact. Since October 7th, the Holy City of Tzfat—a place steeped in spiritual significance and history—has been facing a severe financial crisis. The once-thriving tourism industry, which many of the city’s families relied upon for their livelihoods, has come to a sudden halt. Without this vital source of income, countless families in Tzfat are struggling to make ends meet.
In these challenging times, we have an opportunity to come together and support our brothers and sisters in Tzfat in a meaningful way. We are currently raising funds to help these families, who are in desperate need of financial assistance. Your contributions will go directly to these families, providing them with the resources they need to survive during this difficult period.
Moreover, as part of this initiative, these families will be preparing *mehadrin* Shabbat meals for the soldiers stationed in the north. This effort not only supports the families but also nourishes and uplifts the brave men and women who are protecting our land. By donating, you are fulfilling a dual mitzvah—helping those in need and providing for our soldiers.
Additionally, there is an urgent need to bolster the first response security team in Tzfat. The city’s safety depends on those who know it best, but they are in dire need of funds for essential equipment and training. Ensuring that these defenders of Tzfat are well-prepared and equipped is crucial for the protection of this sacred city.
This is a time-sensitive matter, and we cannot afford to wait. The families of Tzfat and the security of the city are depending on us. Please join us in this critical endeavor to provide support, sustenance, and security where it is most needed.
