We, Ofra
and Offer Groisman, are two Israelis who symbolize the true meaning of Israel as the melting pot for cultures and versatility. As ex officers in the IDF we decided to share our knowledge, skills and more than anything – our passion for the country - with guests who wish to see Israel's inside story. Ofra was born in Israel after her parents emigrated from Iraq. She lives near Tel Aviv with her husband Offer and their three sons.She holds an MA from Bar Ilan University in Organizational Management. Ofra served in the IDF for 25 years as an officer responsible for soldiers' welfare. She has a wealth of experience in planning retreats, tours, special functions and entertainment, and other social events. When vacation trips for top officers and enlisted men in Israel were planned—she did the planning. Offer was born in Romania and immigrated to Israel with his family as an infant. He is a graduate of Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology), is a civil engineer, and holds a graduate degree in Construction Management. He served in the IDF for 15 years where he learned the hidden paths and beauties of his country – by foot, first, as a paratrooper, and later as an engineer. When we are not planning tours and events, we explore Israel with our family and friends. We have personally visited nearly every square kilometer of our homeland. Our three boys -- Tomer, Itai, Roee -- helped us realize that we had to find a way to share the love for our homeland with them. That we live in Israel is unique and not what our grandparents would ever have expected. For over 2000 years, the possibility of living in Israel, exploring it and enjoying its rich culture, was not possible. "Next Year in Jerusalem" while often whispered, was just a dream. Today we consider ourselves lucky to be able to explore and share this beauty with our kids and anyone who wishes to join us in the Offarim Israel Experience. We have been successful in giving our three kids who could have fallen into the daily rut of computer games and TV the opportunity to share our excitement of our country, and to travel almost every weekend and visit places that make them go "wow.” We promise to make you go "wow" as well. Our qualifications and experience, together with our desire to share our love of Israel with others are the driving forces behind Offarim Israel Experience. Across the Atlantic, sharing the dream is Ofra's sister-in-law, Carla Adivi, our American associate. Carla is a professional educator, the Director of Education for Valley Outreach Synagogue in Los Angeles. She has a wealth of experience planning special events and tours, as well as educating and motivating people of all ages.
