Climbing to 5,199 meters, Mount Kenya is the second tallest mountain in Africa attracting over 16,000 visitors each year. The scenery surrounding this designated World Heritage Site is breath-taking. It is pristine wilderness with lakes, tarns, glaciers, dense forest, mineral springs and a selection of rare and endangered species of animals, high altitude adapted plains game and unique montane and alpine vegetation.

Traditionally Mount Kenya is the less climbed, smaller brother of Mount Kilimanjaro. However it should not be underestimated and many people who have climbed it prefer the wilderness, abundant wildlife and stunning mountain lakes that you find on Mount Kenya. Point Lenana is a feasible trekking peak and also currently the worlds highest via ferrata summit route, which adds to the challenge and enjoyment. The panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, valleys and savannah makes a trek on this mountain a thoroughly enjoyable African experience.

A new Amazing Adventure for 2025.
Climb in the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda.

Rwenzori is a mountain of 6 different massifs each with numerous peaks (16 in total). Although Margherita on Mt. Stanley remains the most popular owing to its altitude at 5,109m, mountains Speke and Baker, peaks Portal and Alexander are also major attractions for seasoned hikers.

The Rwenzori Mountains offer some of the most challenging hikes in Africa. It’s advised to have prior hiking experience and be in good health before attempting to climb. This is categorized as high-altitude and difficult for non-hikers, you will need to be physically fit.
The Rwenzori range is a true mountain range with many climbs and descents and making it a tough climb.

The Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the Mountains of the Moon, are located in western Uganda, near the Uganda-Congo border. The tropical snow peaks include Africa’s third highest point, and the lower slopes are covered in moorland, bamboo, and lush, damp montane forest. enormous lobelias and “everlasting flowers” are strewn across the slope with enormous tree heathers and multicolored mosses, creating an exquisite, fairy-tale landscape.
