Ghazwa-e-Ahzab, also known as the Battle of the Trench, was a significant event during the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It took place in 627 CE when several tribes hostile to the Muslims formed a coalition to attack the city of Medina. The Muslims, under the leadership of Prophet Muhammad, dug a trench around the city to defend it from the siege. Eventually, due to strategic maneuvers and adverse weather conditions, the coalition disbanded without engaging in a major battle.

of 16 Feb 2024 .Qarn or Qarn al-Manazil is a town currently known as al-Sayl al-Kabeer, and it is located along Wadi Qarn on the road between Makkah and Taif, passing through the Al-Yamaniyah palm grove. It is located 58 km northeast of Makkah and 40 km north of Taif. Garn al-Manazil is the Miqat for the people of Najd and those passing through it. It was described as a great village in the third century AH by Ibn Khordadbeh. There are two mosques that serve as migats: Wadi Mahram Mosque, located at the top of Qarn al-Manazil Valley on the road between Taif and Makkah, about 15 km from the center of Taif, and the other mosque is located in al-Sayl al-Kabeer. Both mosques are valid migats because Garn is a comprehensive name for the entire valley.
