As we were ascending from the strenuous Seven Lakes trek, we were rejuvenated by the sighting of this shy and cute little Red Panda from the community forest. It made our trek unforgettable.
In the recent years, Red Pandas have been spotted more and more frequently in the community forest- the land of the Idu Mishmis which practices cultural conservation of its flora and fauna.
And we should never forget that the rules and regulations established by our ancestors were not for heavenly philosophy but to maintain our conduct with the nature.

Shamans are the one who controls the behaviour of every individual with the nature. From ordeals of innocence to Eyu- Ena (Taboos on hunting) every single act are guided by the Shamans.

The Mishmi Takin Adventures is an Idea to bring change in the mindset of the people dependent on wildlife & forest of the Mishmi Hills. Our vision is to motivate people to appreciate and cherish the rich trad and culture have.

We have a very intricate cultural and spiritual bond with the nature. Since our very existence has always conserved the forest in our own unique ways, we want to foster this sacred relationship furthermore. Our target is to train and employ our people engaged in hunting and divert the immense knowledge of wildlife and forest which they posses into tourism.
