Just 1.30 hours from Bangalore, RayaKottai Fort is perfect for a magical morning trek. This butterfly haven boasts a kaleidoscope of colors fluttering around.
The views from the top are breathtaking, with vast spaces to explore. The cliff's edge adds a thrilling touch – tread carefully!
We had the fort to ourselves, making it feel like a secret sanctuary. The approach road is smooth until the last 2 km of off-road. Absolute thriller for off-road loving bikers!
The area is pristine, so leave only footprints– pack out what you pack in!

We followed the rain to Ramanagara district, the iconic location where the movie Sholay was filmed. After some off-roading, we rode up to the Eradu Betta Sunset View Point, which offers a breathtaking 360Β° view of Ramanagara's rocky hills. It's an ideal spot to pitch a tent and spend the night.

We took the scenic route through Harohalli to Dabbaguli, covering 200 kilometers from Bangalore and passing through three reserve forest areas. Along the way, we stopped at the Maralwadi Dam. The ride on the village roads was incredible. However, when we reached the final checkpoint to Dabbaguli, the forest officials denied us entry. They explained that two weeks prior, a group of riders had caused a disturbance at the riverbed. They offered us three options: return without our riding gear and helmets, drive all the way back to Bangalore and return in cars, or pay them Rs 1000 for a tempo ride to the riverbank. We tried to convince them that all nine of us were in our 40s and far from causing trouble, but ultimately, we had to turn back to Bangalore just 5 kilometers from our destination. Kudos to the forest officials! πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

80 kilometres north of Bengaluru, lies this beautiful lake, surrounded by the rocky hills and trees.
It's an amazing picnic spot! The kind of picnic spot where you should go have your picnic with your loved ones and BRING BACK YOUR GARBAGE WITH YOU!!! How difficult is that?πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. My rant starts here... It's such a beautiful location but humans are fast turning it into a garbage dump. I cannot understand why people do this. They go, enjoy a place, play loud music, drive migratory birds away and leave it dirty for the next person who will visit the place. Is that person expecting someone from BBMP or any corporation to go to this remote location and clean up his mess because he has paid tax and is entitled to be serviced up? Today, again we locked horns with a group of boys in an Ertiga, here at the spot, playing crazy loud music and munching down food and washing oily hands and plates in the lake. Why bother to drive 80 kms from the city to visit this place, if not for enjoying the view and the fauna? My rant stops here.😎
In the peak of the summer too, this lake is filled with water, the trees are green and fishes are in plenty. Most people stop at the spot where the lake is visible...but ride a bit ahead and take a left turn into a muddy road, come to this picnic spot and enjoy the view...best is to reach the spot by 6 AM. The sun pops up from behind the hill across the lake. Perfect view. 😍

Last night we rode up to this beautiful view point, from where we could see the light show by the entire Kanakpura town! Worth it.

Our day began at 5am with the intention to visit .play at .club a playground for all dirt loving bikers. We rode along with hundreds of bikers on the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway who were out on their routine Sunday morning ride.
From there, we took a detour to Lepakshi, which is hardly 10 mins away.
The Veerabhadra temple in Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh, is a 16th-century Hindu temple dedicated to the fierce form of Shiva. It showcases intricate Vijayanagara-style architecture with elaborate carvings and paintings depicting scenes from Hindu epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata. As a centrally protected monument, it is renowned for its detailed fresco paintings and is considered one of the most stunning Vijayanagara temples. In addition to the impressive Nandi statue, the Veerabhadra temple complex also boasts a large Jatayu statue. Depicting the mythical bird from the Hindu epic Ramayana, the Jatayu statue adds to the cultural and religious significance of the temple site. A must visit for all history buffs, I should say.

It's a post which is long due, but anyway here it goes.
We rode to the Kakkabe Camping at Coorg, two weeks ago. It's a delightfully rustic spot, tucked away from easy access, preserving its untouched charm amidst the lack of modern development. Our ride took us through the scenic coffee plantations and winding roads of Coorg, making the effort entirely worthwhile.
