Adyar waterfalls are around 12 kms drive from the Mangalore city. This waterfall has no official name and the locals name it after the place it is located i.e. Adyar.
Many of the Mangaloreans are not aware of this beautiful waterfall or they may not have visited. This is one of the most recommended place to visit and enjoy in mangalore.

Ganalu Falls is located at Ganalu, Malvalli Taluk, Mandya District, Karnataka .The Shimsha river flows down to form the Ganalu Waterfalls. It is surrounded by rocky terrain, and requires little bit of trek to reach the final place.. A cascade of shallow water flows on rocky terrain and the backdrop is breathtaking, more so because it is undiscovered and yet to get commercial.

Directions:Located just 100 km away from the city of Bangalore, Ganalu Falls is close to Shivanasamudra. . It is located 45 KM towards East from District head quarters Mandya. 15 KM from Malvalli.

Hidimbeshwara temple is located on top of a hill inside the Chitradurga Fort itself. It is one of the 18 temples inside the fort so there is no separate entry fee.

We had to climb up some steps to reach the top of the hill. The temple is built in stone but not used for worship any more. It is surrounded by a protective railing and you can get a good view of the surroundings from the top. The city of Chitradurga can be seen in the valley below

The Ramalingeshwara group of temples, situated in Avani town of the Kolar district, Karnataka state, India, is constructed in the dravida style.The name Avani is of Dravidian origin. It means “Earth”. The village finds a mention in history dating back to the days of the epic tale of Ramayana.When Shri Ram was doing the Ashwamedha Yagna, this is where Luv and Kush stopped his horse and war was initiated between Ram and his brothers, against his own sons Luv and Kush.

Directions:From Bangalore, head to Kolar, and then further on NH 75. Almost 30 km from the main town of Kolar, a road from the main highway on the right side diverges inside the village of Avani. Travel 10 km on this road and one reaches the temples.

The Magadi Bird Sanctuay is a place that’s built on the Magadi Tank (known locally as Magade Kere), in the Shirahatti taluk of Gadag district, around 26 km from Gadag. Migratory birds from Central Asia have been frequenting this place for over 10 years now. The tank spans 134 acres of land .Best time to visit is june-aug. Follow us fir more interesting places.

Chitradurga Fort is a fortification that straddles several hills and a peak overlooking a flat valley in the Chitradurga District, Karnataka, India.Chitradurga fort have seven walls (Yelusuttinakote in Kannada). Each wall has a gate with an ascending access through narrow, winding corridors which made it difficult to use elephants for attacking the fort .A movie titles “Nagarahavu” was made in honor of this legendary woman "Onake Obavva".

Route:It is around 200 km from the Bangalore.Plenty of buses are available from Bengalore and it takes approximately 3 to 4 hrs from there vehicles are available to take u to fort.

Kudalasangama in India is an important centre of pilgrimage for Lingayats. It is located about 15 kilometres from the Almatti Dam in Bagalkot district of Karnataka state. The Krishna and Malaprabha River rivers merge here and flow east towards Srisailam Andhra Pradesh.Baoting facility is also available in winter and rainy seasons.
Route: The best way to reach Kudalasangama by rail is to catch a train to Bagalkot Junction, which is located at a distance of about 50 km from the pilgrimage centre. You can easily get buses and cabs from the railway station to Kudalasangama.
