This season reconnoitre the most captivating Pushkar camel fair that takes place in Rajasthan. It is a fair which is largely gathered by thousands of tourists from across the globe. This tiny place of Pushkar comes alive with colours and clamour during the camel fair which is held for a week to 10 days in November every year. During the first 3 to 4 days livestock’s are gathered from nearby villages and towns and trading of these takes place. Gradually Pushkar brightens up with musicians, competitions, vendors and many tourists, bazars are pitched on the dunes with lots of Rajasthani clothes, slippers, ornaments and more. Men buy and sell camels, cows, sheep and goats while women are seen in their colourful costumes with bright clothes and jewellery. Camels are decorated with designs on face, bands on their heads and beautifully looking clothes around their necks. Witness this amazing scene of Pushkar with us this November.
