Dev Deepawali is the festival celebrated every year at the holy city of Varanasi.
On Dev Deepawali, devotees take a holy dip in the Ganges and light earthen lamps in the evening. When the dusk sets, the steps of all the Ghats on the riverfront are lit with millions of earthen lamps. Not only the Ghats but also many of temples of Varanasi are lit with millions of lamps.
It is believed that on this day all deities come to Varanasi to celebrate Deepawali because on this day lord Shiva defeated the demon.
An experience worth to live 💐
