The name Hygea is inspired from the Greek and Roman name for the daughter of the God of Medicine – Hygieia - personifying hygiene and cleanliness. Ltd was set up in June 2015 as Hygea Services, by an entrepreneur with 17 years of experience in the Housekeeping and Facilities Management industry and later changed to Hygea Connect Pvt. Ltd as it changed from Proprietorship to
Private Limited. Latha Menon started Zeus Corporate Services way back in 1999, with just 7 employees and grew it to one of the most respected Housekeeping Services Companies in Bangalore. Her Company was bought over by the APS Group about 5 years back and it became known as Zeus Management Services (P) Ltd, where she continued to lead and build her team of over 2500 employees across India. She has since decided to set up her own Company with a dedicated team. Back to basics and the beginning. Hygea’s Chief of Operations is Satish Basavaraju. Well-known and recognized as a Leader par excellence, who is known to drive and motivate his team in equal measure. Satish has 10 years of experience in the Industry. Her Chief of Finance and Compliances is Vinay Kumar. An MBA in Finance with an astute mind, he has handled back-end logistics for over 7 years now. He is also well-versed with the Industry.
