Alok does talk shows/slide shows on Insects, the show is called "Joy at Fingertips". In these shows you get to peep into life of insects. Their behavior, how they capture their food, how they mate, reproduce, where they lay eggs, how they molt etc. It is a interesting journey into life of insects which we never know exists. We never imagine they feel pain, they feel hungry, how they handle life. H

Description of the Pursuit :
1. Alok Started insect photography as a hobby in 2007 and was enlisted and honoured in “ Limca Book “ in 2011 and 2012.
2. Alok has been successful in clicking variety of insects - roughly over 200 species including butterflies, beetles, bugs, grasshoppers, spiders etc.
3. Alok found out a lot of variety of grasshoppers in forest region of Buldhana, Maharashtra.
4. Along with insect beauty Alok also explain insect behavior ( feeding, mating etc.) and insect personality through HD video clips.
5. To extend this pursuit, now Alok has started a new activity -Joy At Fingertips” Slide Show, Talk Show.
6. In this show Alok interacts with people about the important role of insects as basic food for birds rodents and reptiles. Insects are very important for pollination and hence emphasize to protect and maintain their habitat.
7. Basically Alok looks at insects as the most beautiful but unattended wild creatures and so conservation of bushy grasslands is very important as their natural habitat.
8. Alok is trying to highlight the beautiful, amazing colour patterns of these small creatures, as their conspicuous identification marks. This pursuit is the most INNOVATIVE APPROACH towards the study of insects.
9. At present Alok is a member of DISTRICT BIO-DIVERSITY COMMITTEE . His work has been appreciated by Hon. Rajdattaji, The forest dept. of Maharashtra, NCERT Delhi, IARI Pusa Institute Delhi.
