Australia's International borders likely to open from November 2021
Australia's international border could be opened as early as next month.
Australia is is set to outline today on how the border will open from November 2021, a month earlier than initially planned, but only to jurisdictions with a full-vaccination rate over 80 per cent.
The plan is set to put the ACT, NSW, and Victoria first in line.
Under the national reopening plan, all restrictions on travel to and from Australia were to be lifted at an 80 per cent double-dose vaccination rate in the 16 and over population.
The federal government has been developing a so-called 'vaccination passport', confirming a traveller was immunised against COVID-19.
People who have had both doses of a TGA-approved vaccine will be allowed out of Australia and then will be able to quarantine inside their homes on their return for seven (7) days.
It's early Christmas Gift from the Australian Federal Government.
