Struggling with DENGUE? Here are my tips for you!
SYMPTOMS:
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Muscle, bone & joint pain
• Swollen glands
• Rashes on body
• Painful eyes & headache
HOME REMEDIES:
• Coconut water, soups, fresh vegetable & fruit juices, ginger water, buttermilk, lemon water.
• Have homemade fresh meals like dal chawal, dal roti, daliya, oats, fruits.
• Masala milk ( haldi, kesar, kali mirch powder, nutmeg powder).
• Kadha (Papaya leaves , giloy leaves & neem leaves ).
• Add raw amla juice, aloevera juice, giloy & wheat grass juice to your juices / smoothies.
• Snack on fruits like kiwi, oranges, dragon fruit, pomegranate, papaya & amla.
OTHER IMPORTANT TIPS FOR COMBATING DENGUE:
• Avoid oily & fried foods, caffeine, soda drinks & spicy foods.
• Stay hydrated.
• Take proper sleep.
• Include immunity boosting foods like : almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, turmeric, green tea, citrus fruits, chicken, eggs, sweet potatoes, capsicum, brocolli, garlic, ginger, spinach, yogurt.
• Consult doctor before taking any medicine.
• Sunbathe to get some vitamin-D.
• Use mosquito repellents & net to avoid mosquito bite.
• Proper waste disposal.
• Clear stagnant water.
• Use disinfectant solution while mopping.
