कोविड-19 के संक्रमण की रोकथाम एवं नियंत्रण के दृष्टिगत उत्तराखंड शासन द्वारा आगामी कोरोना कर्फ्यू के लिए दिशा-निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं। नवीन आदेशानुसार प्रदेश में 15 जून को सुबह 6 बजे से 22 जून को सुबह 6 बजे तक कोरोना कर्फ्यू बढ़ाया जा रहा है। इस दौरान आवश्यक वस्तुओं की दुकानें (फल, सब्जी, डेयरी, दूध, मीट) सुबह 8 से शाम 5 बजे तक खुलेंगी। चमोली जनपद के लोगों को आरटीपीसीआर निगेटिव रिपोर्ट के साथ बद्रीनाथ दर्शन की अनुमति दी गई है साथ ही रूद्रप्रयाग जनपद के लोगों को आरटीपीसीआर निगेटिव रिपोर्ट के साथ केदारनाथ दर्शन की अनुमति होगी। इसी तरह उत्तरकाशी जनपद के लोगों को आरटीपीसीआर निगेटिव रिपोर्ट के साथ गंगोत्री और यमुनोत्री दर्शन की अनुमति दी गई है। 20 तक की सीमित संख्या के साथ सभी राजस्व न्यायालयों को खोलने का निर्णय लिया गया है। मिठाई की दुकानें सप्ताह में 5 दिन खुली रहेंगी। शादियों और अंत्येष्टि में शामिल होने वालों की संख्या को बढ़ाकर 50 करने का निर्णय लिया गया है, परंतु इस दौरान आरटीपीसीआर निगेटिव रिपोर्ट को अनिवार्य रखा गया है। विक्रम, टेम्पो आदि को संचालित किए जाने की अनुमति देने का निर्णय लिया गया है। सार्वजनिक वाहनों का अंतर राज्यीय आवागमन राज्य परिवहन विभाग द्वारा जारी एसओपी के अधीन होगा। साथ ही मालवाहक वाहनों को राज्य और अंतर राज्यीय आवागमन की अनुमति होगी। कोविड कर्फ्यू के दौरान कोविड वैक्सीनेशन का कार्य जारी रहेगा। इस दौरान सार्वजनिक सुविधाएं, वित्तीय संस्थान और समस्त स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं यथावत संचालित रहेंगी। शेष दिशा-निर्देश यथावत रहेंगे।

Location: Manimahesh Lake, Bharmour, Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India

Manimahesh Lake (also known as Dal Lake) is situated in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Bharmour subdivision of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Nestled at an elevation of 4,080 meters, it is considered only second in significance to the Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. Manimahesh literally means "Shiva's jewels". According to a local legend, on a full moon night, one can see the reflection of this jewel in the magnificent lake.

Most of the year, it remains closed due to the snow. To reach the lake, one has to trek a distance of 13 km through enchanting mountains and greenery. Shaped like a saucer, the Lake is divided into two main parts - the larger part is the Shiv Katori (the bathing place of Lord Shiva), and the lower part is called Gauri Kund (the bathing place for Goddess Parvati).

The mighty Lake is situated in proximity to the virgin peak of Manimahesh Kailash Parbat, which is considered to be the holy abode of Lord Shiva. It is said that he created both the landforms as his marital home with Goddess Parvati, and he is believed to be residing here still. There is even a marble image dedicated to the Lord in the periphery that is also called Chaumukha.
