This is the winter residence of Baba Tungnath, which is one of the five Kedars. This Kedar comes under the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand and has been given the status of the highest Shiva temple in the world.

It is a beautiful trek, a delight for new people, the sunrise of Chandrashila is an attractive place, it comes in the middle Himalayan range. This padyatra is a day trip which is on foot from Chopta. From Chopta Chandrashila is 6 kms on foot. The Himalayan range visible from Chandrashila gives peace to the mind.

Bali Pass TREK 📍 will start from Dehradun via Sankri and end at Janki Chatti from Yamanotri Dham.

Which is a journey of 7 nights and 8 days,
The journey begins through four villages, Barasu Patti, along with the Harkidoon River.

It will be a good time to walk from Dehradun at 7 in the morning and breakfast will be at Kempty Fall and food will be around Purola.

After a journey of 7/8 hours, you will reach Sankri, here is such a stop in the journey where personal needs will be available for travel.

And at the same time, some necessary material will have to be taken for the journey, they can also take it.

On the second day (2) the starting point of which is a market called Taluka,
From here the traveler takes a walk, it is 11 kms from Taluka Sankri.

Some scenes of local tradition living will also be seen in this journey.
And the first camp will be Chilurgad

The journey from here to the shelter is peaceful, the travel border is the outpost of the forest department, which is quite beautiful, from here the way to Harkidoon will go on the other side and from here to Bali pass Ruinsara Tal will go with the right hand, after this a bugyal named Devsu in the middle will also come after that after 3 kms the living room will come which will be 2 stop of Bali pass journey from Sankri

Day 4 to Ruinsara Tal
The river coming from the Ruinsara valley flows in the lower part of the dwelling, which makes this valley beautiful.
On this day, when you go to Ruinsara, a beautiful waterfall will also come on the way, which soaks all the people passing through it with its soft soft drops.
From here onwards, some Bugyal and many types of wild flowers will also be seen, along with small wooden bridges which also contribute in making the journey beautiful, after covering some distance, Ruinsara will reach the camp side,

Day 5 Ruinsara Talab to Odari

On this day you will also leave for Odri after seeing the view of Ruinsara pond.

Har ki Dun, which means Valley of Gods, is situated deep inside Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in North-Western Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, neighboring Himachal Pradesh in the North. Rich in flora and fauna, the trails are quite often covered in different shades of orchids and other wild flowers. In 1937, Doon school master Jack Gibson along with Tenzing Norgay and his colleague John Martyn climbed Bandarpunch. Jack Gibson made several expeditions in the region and trained young Indian mountaineers. This made the flora, fauna and Garhwali culture of Har ki Dun region known to the outside world.

Muktatop trek-(3608m) is one of the lesser known offbeat trekking destinations in Uttarakhand that are comparable with other popular winter snow trek routes like Kedarkantha, Dayara Bugiyal, Chandrashila, Brahmatal. It is located to the west of Dayara Bugiyal between Yamunotri & Gangotri regions as a part of the Barahat range of the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarkashi district. Although it can be visited year round but during the winter months of December, January and February the fecund grassy pasture uplands gets covered with layers of snow turning the whole valley into a mesmerizing and picturesque location.
During winter the day time temperatures are around -5/6°C while night time temperatures can plummet to -12°C. So you need to be prepared with adequate clothing and gears. During summer the day time temperatures are around 8/13°C while night time temperatures are around 2/12°C. The total trekking distance is around 24km that takes you through deep forest canopies of Deodar, Rhododendrons, Maples, Oak and Pines trees.
