Now, India boasts the world’s longest river cruise. Known as ‘The Antara Ganga Vilas’, this state-of-the-art-luxury cruise ship embarked on its maiden voyage on Jan,13th Friday, 2023 and will cover a distance of around 3,200 km over a span of 51-days.

The Antara Ganga Vilas set sail from Varanasi and its destination is Dibrugarh, via Bangladesh. For accommodation, there are 18 luxurious suites with almost every conceivable facility and comfort. All the suites have floor-to-ceiling windows offering mesmerising views. Along the way, the cruise will cover 50 fabulous tourist destinations, including world heritage sites, river banks, and famous cities.

Travelers also have the flexibility to choose from limited itineraries, instead of booking the entire 51-day duration of the cruise. The next sailing season will start from October 2023.

Ayodhya’s Deepotsav breaks its own Guinness record with 15.76 lakh diyas!

Ayodhya bagged the Guinness World record for the ‘largest display of oil lamps’ by lighting more than 15.76 lakh earthen lamps at Ram ki Paidi during the last day of the Deepotsav celebrations on Sunday.
