Khari Baoli, A street in Delhi known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling a variety of spices, nuts, herbs.

Operating since the 17th century , situated near Fatehpuri Masjid at the western end of Chandni chowk.
The foundation of the Khari Baoli step-well was laid by Khwaja Abdullah Laazar Qureshi during the reign of Islam shah, the son of Sher Shah Suri but now Baoli has totally disappeared.

Tughlaqabad : Abandoned City

Ghiyasud-din Tughlaq , the founder of Tughlaq dynasty built this fortification in 1321 AD .
Red sandstone , slate and marble slabs were used for building its mausoleum.
The very famous Sufi Saint Muhammad Nizamuddin Auliya cursed its construction by uttering : " Ya rahe ujjar ,ya bassey gujjar " . It means, It won't be inhabited (occupied) , if occupied , it will be by the Gujjars .
