Selamat Pagi! 🌴
On this particular morning I woke up at 5 at a traditional homestay in Ubud, got myself a Gojek and went on a long walk in the rice fields of Tegallalang. My Gojek driver voluntarily doubled as the photographer here, he was extraordinarily excited on hearing that I come from India, because of the huge Shah Rukh Khan following in Indonesia and also because of the Hindu culture prominent there. Indonesians in general are extremely polite and kind hearted people, I was amazed by their selfless hospitality and the enthusiasm with which I was greeted!

A girl who travels will need someone that questions her, not too little, and not too much. She’ll need someone to read her, but also really listen to her. Because she’ll want to do the same. She’ll want a person that shares an interest but at the same time stays genuine to who they are. Not drown in a puddle of narcissism. And not drown in a lake of fascination.

As we walk back, it feels like the city is engulfing us. Adrenalin still pours through our veins. Sparks flow through to our fingers. We've still been running in the mornings, but the city's different then. It's filled with hope and with bristles of winter sunshine. In the evening, it's like it dies, waiting to be born again the next morning.

If I could take a brush and paint the mountains and the moors,
I would splash the hillsides yellow and cover them in gorse.
I'd take the finest needle and the darkest thread of green
And sew a line of bracken along the landscape. In-between

I'd lay a purple carpet of wild heather in the dells
And fringe the edge of all the woods with their pretty lilac bells.
I'd merge the bracken with the heather, mix their colours like the sea,
A green and purple ocean on my own rich tapestry.

Then I'd take a ball of soft, white wool and stitch a mass of daisy chains
Around the lush green meadows and up the sides of winding lanes.
I would stencil on the marshes, just like pure white china cups,
Some fragile water lilies and by the ponds, sweet buttercups.

I'd mix orange, reds and yellows planting poppies wild and free
Onto nature's coloured canvas, my own rich tapestry. Lesley Elaine Greenwood

One of the best experiences of all the things we did in till now with and 🐶🐱🐘
This Elephant Nature Park is home to 80 rescued elephants along with 100s of dogs and cats. An initiative of a woman from a near by village where several volunteers come together to try to take care of these animals with respect and utmost importance that they deserved in the first place. We humans sometimes forget that they also belong here, on this Earth as much as we do.

Thank you to a few of them who still care.

Pink city under the pink sky. From its palaces to its forts, from its local market to its local food, Jaipur will never fail to surprise you.
On my second day of trip to Jaipur, I saw an uncle deep frying samosas. And that was it, I decided this is the place where I am gonna have my today's breakfast (I am a big time fan of samosas😄). Apart from other things I ordered, this is something that took away all my attention. They served samosa with kadi. It was weird for me, because where I come from the usual is chutney. But believe me, it was damn delicious😋. I have tried so many types of samosas from different places and it was best in Jaipur. If you ever visit there, please try it atleast once.
I am sure, you too have tasted a twist in your everyday meal with a local touch. Would love to hear your experiences😊

For a couple of days, there was a beautiful conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. What a rare cosmic event!
It reminded me of this glorious night sky from Neil Andamans that we saw right before my birthday eve :)
Although this has been captured (by ) in Neil, the milky way can be seen from anywhere. All you need is a really dark space with minimal pollution - both air and light. Neil was perfect in that sense because the island is very clean.

We also used apps like PhotoPills to know the moonrise/moonset time, milky way rise/set time and here we were, possibly the best night sky experience so far.
