We live in New Delhi & London and save our pennies to travel as often as possible. Over the past few years, we have won a number of prestigious awards for our work in the travel blogosphere, been featured on dozens of news channels, and delivered several TEDx Talks that focus on designing the life of ones dreams through passion and hard work. So far we've visited 95 countries and written about them all on our website & social media.

2024 in 20 photos - Failure is a part of life! 😪 But so is love 🥰🕊️

We had big plans for 2023 but due to my unexpected eye surgery all our plans got shelved! Drive is the most important thing in an entrepreneur’s life and last year we lost some of it! At the beginning of 2024, we promised ourselves that we would complete those dreams 😊🤍

Here are some memorable moments from 2024 for us:

* We bought a holiday home in Dubai, an investment that’s been on our vision board for years but one that took lots of financial planning . And Vid’s parents were our first visitors before we put it on Airbnb. It was their first time visiting Dubai and their reaction was just SO precious! They’re my babies, no kidding! ☺️
* Worked tirelessly on the Bruised Passports App and can’t wait for all of you to start using it in 2025 🤳
* Continued our dream of spreading education by building a STEM lab for primary school students at a government school in Haryana. This is now the third computer and STEM lab we’ve built and it will help educate kids for years to come 🤞💻
* Tried new travel experiences (that no-door helicopter ride though! 🚁) and made some amazing travel memories as we re-visited perpetual favourites such as Australia, France, Fiji, and USA and explored some really offbeat new countries - the ones that stood out the most were Rwanda and Tonga ✈️
* At the start of the year, we turned off “likes” on our Instagram feed - not just from our posts but our instagram feed altogether! Simply because we didn’t leave the corporate rat race to get caught up in another rat race! We want our creative vision to guide us here not likes and shares! 🤍 It’s been a whole year since I saw any numbers and it’s been great. Living with intention is the MOST important thing in the world to both of us- so if any aspect of life doesn’t align with our vision, we make small changes to it 😊
* Received lots of accolades and nominations for our work. It’s truly an honour to be nominated for so many awards each year because we’ve been doing this for so long now. But if I am being completely honest, awards and lists don’t excite us at all 🏆
* What DOES excite us is community - meeting so many of you at airports, restaurants, and meet-ups in far-away lands from Australia to Uganda- always so special. I might be biased but Bruised Passports fam is the BEST 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
* And perhaps most importantly, in a world full of crumbling half-baked relationships, I’m MOST GRATEFUL to be surrounded by an incredible partner and amazing friends and family. So I’m ending this year by being most grateful for the little things because y’all know me - no matter the year, the real luxuries in life for me will ALWAYS will be time, slow mornings, good health, the freedom to have flexible work hours, and keeping the people I love as close to me as I can ☺️🤍

For there is truly NO greater joy in life than to love & be loved. Finding people who love you unconditionally is the rarest and most empowering thing of them all! It can truly turn your life around!

Sharing this story about the highs and lows of life to congratulate you if you had a good year and remind you that it’s ok if you had a year of lows (like we did last year)- a better year lies just around the corner! 😊🤍🕊️

In 2025, I hope you only go where you are treasured, that you live with Intention, and prioritise fulfilment at work and play.

Prepping the house for a cosy Christmas 🎄🧶🎁
This is the year we’ve had to put air purifiers everywhere due to the crazy AQI levels and my asthma! But we’ve put the biggest one, Big+Quiet, in our living room because it’s meant for large spaces and this is where we’re spending all our time watching Christmas films ofc! I LOVE seeing y’all rewatch my favourite Christmas films after I left a list on our stories the other day 🎄🎅🏻📺

The beauty of Bhutan in December 🤌❄️

From the moment we landed till the moment we left, I was left marvelling at the sheer stature of the landscapes, the peace of the surrounding, and the happiness on the faces of Bhutanese people! Someone pinch me! 🥹🧡Dinner date of dreams in Bora Bora, on our floating home in the Pacific 🥂🍽️

We spent our last night onboard having a dinner under the stars on Ponant ’s Le Paul Gaugin! With the ocean, sunset, and way too many desserts for company…. 🚢😋 Some trips manage to ignite your mind and your emotions & being on these little islands - practically dots in the middle of the Pacific Ocean - did just that! 🌍💙

Slowly exploring the South Pacific islands this month was a reminder that travel can be educational and inspirational all at once - an unforgettable month for sure! Going back with memories to last a lifetime! ☺️💙

Postcards from The Vanilla Island 🌴🐚🥥
Taha’a, a stunning lil island that is part of The Islands of Tahiti. There is no airport here, so sailing is the only way to get here! 🚢 The tiny island is home to so many vanilla plantations that the air here is literally fragranced with sweet vanilla, no matter where you go! 😭 Perhaps that’s why it’s considered one of the best honeymoon destinations in the world 🌍🌴

PS did you know the Tiare flower is the national symbol of Tahiti? Both men and women wear flowers as necklaces, crowns or behind their ears. In Tahiti, you wear a Tiare flower on your left ear if you’re taken & on your right ear to indicate you’re looking for someone 🌺🌸

You, me, and Bora Bora 🚙🌴
An unforgettable road trip, bursting with culture and scenery. Most tourists visit only the beaches & over-water villas in Bora Bora but we recommend getting a car for a day and driving around the island 🚙🌴

The tiny island has a ring road that circles is and it is only 32 kms long 😉 Spend the day in lil cafes and art galleries, hiking to viewpoints, driving along crystal clear waters, and of course relaxing at the beach. You’ll find yourself falling in love with Bora Bora - one of the very few places on Earth which looks even better in person than in does in photos! 🤭🌴

Country number 112 together 🥹🌴 The Republic of Tonga, home to THE bluest waters I have seen in my life! 🐚🌴

Pristine white beaches, colourful coral reefs, and lush tropical rainforests - it has it all! Our Ponant voyage is docked here & we’ve spent every minute exploring. But the one thing I can’t stop staring at are these bright blue skies! 😭

I can safely say this is one of the MOST beautiful and underrated countries we’ve visited, so much more impressive than many viral beach destinations. Going to leave with salty hair, sandy toes, and a heart full of island dreams 😭🌴🐚🐠🥥

Fiji, a stunning island getaway that you can easily combine with your trip to Australia or New Zealand! 😊🌴

This is our third time in the country - the island paradise that is home to beautiful scenery and the warmest people. And we always experience something new on each trip! But if we had to suggest 5 must do things in Fiji that you need to put on your bucket list then it would be ⬇️🌴

1. Snorkelling & diving to see the stunning reefs and marine life 🐠
2. An island-hopping cruise is the best way to visit & enjoy the most beautiful islands in Fiji ⛵️
3. Witnessing the fire-walkers of Beqa island, which was the first stop on Ponant’s ! The tribe here prepares for weeks for this ritual and it is truly special to witness it in person 🔥
4. Immerse yourself in Fiji’s cultural traditions and history and enjoy a kava ceremony at a village ☕️
5. Spend a few days on the island of Savu Savu & hike to beautiful waterfalls 🥾

We just boarded Ponant ‘s Paul Gauguin Cruises to explore the little islands of French Polynesia. The two I’m most excited about are Tahiti & Bora Bora - will definitely keep posting all our highlights here!

We’re spending our anniversary in a lil cocoon of our own 🌴🥥🐚☀️

Both of us were practically babies when we first met but I can’t believe it’s been 25 years of knowing each other, dreaming big dreams, living through intense grief and illnesses, evolving together, visiting all 7 continents, creating our ideal life, and ticking off one dream at a time 😇💫

No one told us this but marriage (with the right person!) is literally THE most liberating & empowering journey you will ever take! Your partner becomes your bestfriend as you laugh, cry, and build a life together! It’s nice to have someone in your corner, no matter what the circumstances! 😊💫

You do silly spontaneous things (2 am pizza dates? 🍕🤭) and dream extraordinary dreams together! You protect each other! You lead each other! You ground each other! You’re each other’s peace in the chaos. You’re each others strength. You’re HOME to each other! ❣️💫

A constant, stable love is rare but so effortless that at this point, I honestly don’t know where the years are flying! But I do know having a partner, who is the same level of weird as you, can keep you from CRUMBLING during the sad times and empower you to dream BIGGER during happy times! And so it is a happy anniversary indeed! 🥂😊💫
