The renowned bank, The Puduppadi Service Co-Operative bank's director board submitted a detailed outline to the government after taking a courageous decision to step into the zones where no co operative society are working. Government approved the project after the IIM Kozhikode submitted a feasibility report after conducting a detailed study under it's Social developement project (SDP). The venture aims at conducting internationally acclaimed tourism activities connecting Kakkad eco-tourism, Vanaparvam, Vayalada, Kakkayam, Kakkadampoyil, Thusharagiri waterfalls and other tourism spots of Wayanad. Ecompass plans to be a leader for national - international tourism packages. Kerala State Government tourism Minister Sri Kadakampally surendran inaugurated E Compass Travel hub on 8th december 2018.
