📍 Shri Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple

🛕 Around five thousand years ago, a Shivalinga was revealed in the Arabian Sea, today we knowns as Shri Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir. In the month of June/July, the ocean itself perform abhishekam the Shivling, and for some time this temple becomes the part of the ocean. The most famous festival of the temple is Maha Shivratri, on the day of Shivratri, a grand fair is organized around the temple.

✈️ Access Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple easily by air to Jamnagar or Porbandar, then travel by road or rail. 🚂

Experience Holi – Fulldol Utsav at Dev Bhoomi Dwarka! 🎉

While Holi in Vrindavan is famous, in Dwarka too, the colour and pomp are vivid. Nearly 8 to 10 lakh devotees visit the Dwarkadhish Temple situated at the cusp of Gomati River and the Arabian Sea during the Holi festival.

Krishna who is called Dwarkadhish here is offered Abil Gulal (natural colors) and scented water by means of a silver pichkari (piston). Devotees dance to the tune of traditional raas and throw color at each other Men and women from Mer community perform their traditional dances here. During Holi celebrations the flag hoisted at the top of the temple is changed five times a day. People from far across the state come here to celebrate Holi with Krishna many of them come walking from far places.

जबकि वृंदावन में होली का धूमधाम है, द्वारका में भी रंग-बिरंगे और उत्साह भरे हैं! होली के त्योहार के दौरान गोमती नदी और अरब सागर के संगम पर स्थित द्वारकाधीश मंदिर में लगभग 8 से 10 लाख भक्त आते हैं।

यहाँ श्री कृष्ण, जिसे द्वारकाधीश कहा जाता है, को एबिल गुलाल (प्राकृतिक रंग) और सुगंधित जल का सिल्वर पिचकारी के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया जाता है। भक्त रास के पारंपरिक धुन पर नृत्य करते हैं और एक-दूसरे पर रंग फेंकते हैं। मेर समुदाय के पुरुष और महिलाएँ यहाँ पर अपने पारंपरिक नृत्य करते हैं। होली के उत्सव के दौरान मंदिर के शिखर पर लगाए गए ध्वज को दिन में पाँच बार बदला जाता है। राज्य के दूर-दूर से लोग यहाँ आकर श्री कृष्ण के साथ होली मनाने आते हैं, बहुत से लोग दूरदराज से चलकर आते हैं।

"Sudama Setu" is a pedestrian bridge in Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gujarat. This bridge is named in memory of Sudama, a special childhood friend of Lord Krishna.

Shivrajpur beach is located near Shivrajpur village of Dwarka District of Gujarat. In October 2020, this beach was given "Blue Flag" certificate. This beach is of white sand and with very clear water.
Shivrajpur is located at a distance of 12 km from Dwarka on the Okha-Dwarka highway.
Activities like scuba diving, boating, snorkeling, island tour, sea bathing are done on this beach. This year, a tent city has also been organized here by Gujarat Tourism. A light house is located near this beach and also the Kachchigarh fort.
Activities such as water activities and sea bathing are closed from June to August.

Tulsi Vivah is celebrated every year in Dwarkadhish temple (Dwarka-gujrat).
