KABI LUNGCHOK is a historical site of Sikkim. It is located at 17km away from main city i.e Gangtok the capital of Sikkim. It is the place where important treaty was signed between Bhutias and the Lepchas,(indigenous people of Sikkim). The treaty of blood brotherhood was signed between the Lepcha Chief Thekhong Tek as the representative of lepchas and khye Bumsa as the representative of Bhutias at Kabi, North Sikkim. The stones were erected as the markers of the promises that they have made on that day, which still remains.
