Set amid the emerald-green tea plantations and snow capped Himalayan Peaks, Darjeeling was founded back in the 19th Century by the British and now has a Tibetan influence in their craft, culture and cuisine. Itinerary:
Day1(29th dec): evening boarding from sealdah. Journey begins.
Day 2(30th dec): Pickup from NJP and drop to Darjeeling via Mirik. Visit Mirik Lake, Gopaldhara Tea Estate, Pashupatinagar Market (extra charges applied for permit), Nepal Border, Lepchajagat on your way. Stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3(31st dec): Wake up early and witness the famous sunrise from Tiger Hills. While returning to hotel, visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery. Have a quick breakfast after you reach hotel and get ready for the remainder of sightseeing. Visit Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, Rock Garden, Darjeeling Ropeway, Gombu & Tenzing Rock, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Rangeet Valley Tea Estate, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoo, Bengal Natural History Museum. Reach hotel. Say hello to 2023 the new year celebration...
Day 4(1st jan): After an early breakfast, visit Takdah, Tinchuley, Lamahatta, Peshok Tea Estate, Triveni & Lover's Meet Point. Return at hotel and stay.
Day 5(2nd jan): After an early breakfast, leave for NJP. Visit Kurseong Dowhill Eco Park, Victoria Boys' School, Hanuman Top and Rohini Falls on your way. Drop at NJP. Board at train...
Day6(3rd jan): Drop at sealdah...Journey ends with beautiful memories...
