The palace was converted into an exquisite luxury hotel in 1996 which is now a “Small Luxury Hotel of the World” and also rated as “World’s Leading Heritage Hotel” by World travel Awards 2007, 2008 ,2009, 2010 and 2011 , five years consecutively. Museum suites have been created giving the Raj Palace the honour of being the first palace hotel with such accommodations in the world.. The Mehendi Ceremony : Anuj X Isha

The Mehendi was the first ceremony which happened in the quaint corner of the Palace, The Moti Chowk surrounded by the closest family members, and stretched till late in the evening with some crazy dance moves.

Here, you can see the happy faces enjoying the best days of their lives. ❤️

The Mehendi Ceremony had a pastel pink and ivory theme with the Bride & Groom seating on a beautiful ornate Jhoola which we borrowed from the Palace.

We tried to keep this ceremony completely sustainable by using a lot of potted plants and golden urlis filled with pink roses & chrysanthemums.

CURRENT SITUATION: There is still no direction on whether we can actually even have a summer holiday abroad this year, instead the government is introducing a “Traffic Light System” with Red being no go zone or quarantine at a hotel, Amber with quarantine at home and Green with no quarantine measures, however a negative PCR Test to be taken before flying and on return for all! As much as this may sound selfish, all I’m interested right now is which countries are going to be in the Green? 🙈😻

Our hotel in Jaipur is insane. 😍 The first royal palace to be built in the city back in 1727! The top suite here costs just a mere $12,000 a night - unfortunately a few dollars too expensive for us! 🤣🤣🤣

We spent our first evening chilling by this beautiful pool before celebrating Diwali with the staff. 🎉 Such an incredible evening! Happy Diwali! 💚🧡
