Peren town

Peren town Peren the youngest District of Nagaland-India.

Peren was established by two brothers namely Ndang and Gongdui, who migrated from Nkuilongdi (Makuilongdi of Senapati District, Manipur) later they were joined by more homogeneous families who migrated from different directions. Originally, Peren is known as Tsuren meaning ‘Rocky’ as the area being plated with rocks, Peren is also Known as Berema during the British regime.
