One of the area’s best-loved events is coming back! The Jekyll Island Authority will hold its annual Shrimp and Grits Festival in the Jekyll Island Historic District on October 25 and 26.

As always, there will be food, craft vendors, and awesome entertainment. It is free, but the island’s parking fee increases by $4 over the weekend. For more information, visit jekyllisland.com.

F.L.O.W SSI is a charity paddle honoring the memory of those who lost their lives on our local beaches. This inaugural event will take place at Goulds Inlet on Sept 23rd where we will paddle the incoming tide to Village Creek Landing.
