Amazing dining setups!! 🕯️🥘👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨
The dining setups were the highlight of our wildlife trip to Madhya Pradesh besides the wildlife itself ofcourse 🤭!
From lunches by a gurgling stream to drinks and conversations under an ancient banyan tree, the experiences were cosy, romantic & surreal.
It kind of made us understand why the royals were so obsessed with shikar or hunting. The thrill of the chase ( in our case of spotting, we wld NVR harm an animal!), Picnic breakfasts in the forest, returning to the lodge for piping hot lunches served in beautiful locations, sundown drinks by flowing rivers followed by night drives in the buffer area to spot more animals, more drinks under a beautifully lit banyan tree and then a delicious candle lit dinner!
Throw in a swim and a spa session and you don't need much else in life to be happy.

That moment when you spot a tiger in the wild 💯
Graceful, elegant, powerful, playful, dangerous, beautiful, cute....you wonder how one can look so many things at once!🐯
Here's one of the 7 tigers we spotted in Satpura National park ( a park not known for tigers!) And she seemed to be enjoying the photo shoot. 📸
Probably the reason she was so comfortable was we were the only jeep there unlike other parks where 15 odd jeeps surround a cat. 🐅
We recommend the parks where fewer jeeps are allowed, sure it's tougher to spot a tiger with not too many others to give you a cue but if you do spot one rest assured it will be a better, longer and more respectful sighting. Also that's why you need to go with a good naturalist & guide.

Happy faces of people who spotted 6 tigers!!!🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯
We went on a safari in Satpura National Park and we're lucky enough to spot a female tigeress called KT with her 4 almost grown cubs ( they looked fully grown!) & also the father called R2 ( Ravan)
This park is not known for tigers so imagine our surprise when we spotted these 6 beautiful cats chasing a family of Gaur ( wild buffalo).
Pictures and videos to follow soon. But if there is one place to see wildlife in India it's in Madhya Pradesh. And the accommodation options here are equally amazing. Will be posting videos of that soon too.
