Services provided and trekking itenerary :

The trek will be for a duration of 5 days and 4 nights. The night-stays will be in trekkers huts and not in tents. All fooding, lodging, trekking permits and taxi fare will be included in the trek fee. A local guide who sprcialises in the Singalila National Park will join the trek leader and the team. The tour leader will make all the decisions and the trekkers are expected to abide by the tour leader's decisions, especially regarding medical emergencies. Pick-up and drop will be from Darjeeling to Darjeeling. If someone needs to be picked up or dropped off at the nearest railway station or the nearest airport then they will be charged an extra fee for the taxi accordingly. The duration of the trek also depends on, from where the trekkers are picked-up. If the trekkers are picked up from the nearest airport or the nearest railway station then the trek will be for 6 days and 5 nights and they will be charged accordingly, considering the costs of lodging, fooding, taxi and trekking permits.

Itenerary :
Day 1 - Pick-up from Darjeeling and drive to Srikhola. Trek from Srikhola to Ramam. Lunch at Ramam. After lunch, trek to Samanden. Night stay at Samanden in trekker's hut.
Day 2 - Breakfast at Samanden. After breakfast, trek towards Sabargram. Packed lunch on the way to Sabargram at Deorali. After lunch, trek to Sabargram and night stay at Sabargram in trekker's hut.
Day 3 - Wake up early to watch the sunrise and the mountains from Sabargram view point. Breakfast at Sabargram. After breakfast, trek towards Aal. Packed lunch on the way to Aal at Thokum. After lunch, trek towards Aal and night stay in Aal at trekker's hut.
Day 4 - Wake up early to watch the sunrise, the mountains and the villages in the Nepal side of the border. Breakfast at Aal. After breakfast, trek towards Gurdum via Sandakphu. A quick stop in Sandakphu for sight-seeing and then trek towards Gurdum. Snack break at forest guest house on the way to Gurdum. After snacks, trek towards Gurdum and night stay at Gurdum in trekker's hut.
Day 5 - Breakfast at Gurdum. After breakfast, trek towards Srikhola. From Srikhola, drive towards Darjeeling. End of trek.

To witness a sunrise like this one right next to this marvellous view of the Khangchendzonga range is quite amazing. In fact for me, to witness this was a humbling moment filled with my gratitude towards mother nature.
PS. The view of the mighty Everest, Lhotse and Makalu is missing from the frame. Sorry.
