മഞ്ഞുകാലം എന്നതിന് ഇത്രയേറെ സുഖമുണ്ടെന്നറിഞ്ഞ ആദ്യയാത്ര. മഞ്ഞുപെയ്യുന്ന മലനിരകളിലൂടെ നടന്നുനീങ്ങുമ്പോളും ഒരു കൈത്താങ്ങായി എന്നും യാത്രികൻ കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കേരളം എന്നതിന് ഇത്രയേറെ അർത്ഥമുണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്ന യാത്ര.
കവിതപോലെ കുളിരണിയിക്കുന്ന മഞ്ഞും മലനിരകളും കാറ്റും പുഴകളും പൂക്കളും തേയിലതോട്ടവും ഒരു വേറിട്ട കാഴ്ചകൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ചു. ഇരുളുകൾ തിങ്ങി നിറയുന്ന മനസിന്റെ ഇടനാഴികൾ തോറും വെളിച്ചമുണർത്തിയ യാത്രികന്റെ പങ്ക് പറഞ്ഞറിയിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്തതിലുമപ്പുറമാണ്.
ഓരോ തളിരിലും തളിരിലയിലും പുതു പുളകമേകുന്ന മലയാളത്തിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യം ആസ്വദിക്കുവാൻ ഈ യാത്രയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സാധിച്ചു. പൈൻ മരങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലൂടെ നടന്നുനീങ്ങുമ്പോൾ കേൾക്കുന്ന ചീവീടുകളുടെ ശബ്ദവും അവയ്ക്കടുത്തു എവിടെയോ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം ഉണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തണുത്ത കാറ്റിന്റെ ഇരമ്പലും ഒരു വേറിട്ട അനുഭവം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു.
മഞ്ഞിൽ വിരിഞ്ഞ ഓരോ കുഞ്ഞു പൂക്കൾക്കുപോലും ഇത്രയേറെ സൗന്ദര്യമുണ്ടെന്ന കവിഭാവനകൾ ഈ യാത്രയിലൂടെ യാഥാർഥ്യമാക്കുവാൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് സാധിച്ചു.
പുലർച്ചെ നാലര മണിയിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച കൊളുക്കുമലയിലേക്കുള്ള അതിസാഹസികമായ ജീപ്പ് യാത്രയും ഒടുവിൽ ആ മലമുകളിലേക്ക് എത്തിച്ചേർന്നപ്പോൾ കിട്ടിയ സന്തോഷവും കോടമഞ്ഞിന്റെ തണുപ്പും മറക്കുവാനാവാത്ത നിമിഷങ്ങൾ തന്നെയാണ്..
ഒരുപാട് ആഗ്രഹം ആയിരുന്നു മഞ്ഞുമഴ കാണണം എന്നത്. സ്വപ്നങ്ങളിൽ മാത്രം കാണുവാൻ സാധിച്ച ആ ഹിമമഴ ഞങ്ങളിലും പെയ്തിറങ്ങി ആ മൂന്നാറിന്റെ ആകാശം തൊട്ട മലനിരകളിൽനിന്ന്.....
ഇവയിൽ നിന്നുമെല്ലാം തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരനുഭവം യാത്രികൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു. പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാതെ കിട്ടിയ പിറന്നാൾ സമ്മാനം പോലെ... നാലുചുമരുകളിൽ കിടന്നു വീർപ്പുമുട്ടുന്ന ഹോട്ടൽ മുറികളെക്കാൾ മനസമാധാനം നിറഞ്ഞ കുഞ്ഞു കുഞ്ഞു കൂടാരങ്ങൾ മലകൾക്കുമുകളിൽ അവർ ഞങ്ങൾക്കായൊരുക്കി. അതിനരികിലുള്ള കുഞ്ഞു പൂന്തോട്ടവും നെല്ലിമരവും ഓറഞ്ച് മരങ്ങളും പേരയും ഏലവും വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടവും പലനിറത്തിലുള്ള ഡാലിയയും ഊട്ടിപൂക്കളും കണ്ണിൽനിന്നും മായാതെ നിൽക്കുകയാണ്.
തുമ്പികൾ വെയിൽ കായുന്നതുപോലെ ആ കൊടും തണുപ്പിൽ ഇളംചൂട് പകർന്നുതന്ന ക്യാമ്പ് ഫയറും ഡിജെയും മറക്കാനാവാത്ത അനുഭവങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്.

‌ ഒരുപാട് സന്തോഷവും അതിലേറെ കടപ്പാടും തോന്നുന്നു യാത്രികാ....... ഞങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളിൽ ഹിമമഴയായ് പെയ്തതിന്..... നിന്റെ സുരക്ഷയുടെ ആയിരം കരങ്ങൾക്ക്.... സൗഹൃദം നിറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകൾക്ക്.... മനസിനെ ആനന്ദം നിറച്ച കാഴ്ചകൾക്ക്.........
