The whole of Japan knew
An Indian man was traveling in Japan and staying at a five-star hotel. When he went to the swimming pool, there were no other guests around. While swimming alone, a mischievous thought crossed his mind. He decided, "Why not urinate in this five-star hotel's swimming pool? It would be fun to think of other guests swimming in my urine."
As soon as he relieved himself, the water in that part of the pool turned pink and an alarm started blaring. The hotel staff rushed over and immediately pulled him out of the pool. They explained that now they would have to drain the entire pool, clean it thoroughly, and refill it with fresh water.
Within ten minutes, the man was summoned to the reception. They handed him his passport and asked him to leave the hotel. The man thought, as a wealthy tourist, he could simply find another hotel.
This is where the real trouble began. He first tried to check into nearby five-star hotels. But each time, after looking at his passport for a moment, the receptionists would say, "Ah, you’re the one who... sorry, sir, we can’t accommodate you. Please try another hotel."
He then tried four-star, then three-star hotels, but everywhere, the response was the same. By the end of the day, having been refused by every hotel in Japan, he sought refuge at his embassy.
There, he was advised that he would no longer be able to stay at any hotel in Japan with a swimming pool. Worse still, his passport was now marked with this incident. They suggested it would be wise to end his trip and return home.
His humiliation didn’t end there. At the airport, while stamping his passport, the officer remarked, "I hope you’ve learned your lesson. Don’t forget it when traveling to other countries."
Upon returning to India, the man wrote about the entire incident on his page. His last line read, "The whole of Japan knew I had urinated in their hotel swimming pool."
Meanwhile, our government still hasn't managed to uncover who has stolen billions of dollars from our national treasury.
