Dosmochey is celebrated in leh , likir (lower ladakh) in Feb .the festival take place for two days .
The celebration is to mark the victory over evils.
The mask worn by the dancers represent the guardians, protectors and gods and goddesses.
The monk of monastery prepare the offering with thread cross (storma) which bind all the evil, hungry gost, and guard against natural disaster in the coming years, on the sec day of the festival, the offering are taken out of the monastery in a procession and burn it . . ....
