Detailed article on www.TheAnigaStory.com
Jawhar Hill station in Maharashtra is a beautiful, lesser-known destination. The Jai Vilas Palace offers stunning valley views and a serene atmosphere. The spot is great for nature lovers and has a well-designed garden. However, there is a lack of proper waste disposal. The area is ideal for relaxation and capturing beautiful moments. The Khad Khad Dam is another must-visit spot, with water flowing down the slope and a staircase. Visitors can soak their feet in the water or trek up to the dam.

Overview -

Dabhosa Waterfall:

A renowned attraction in Jawhar hill station, Dabhosa Waterfall offers a captivating experience with a one-hour trek. The trek, though relatively easy, requires caution during monsoon due to muddy and slippery conditions. The reward is a close encounter with the waterfall's natural splendor.

Jai Vilas Palace:

Situated amidst vibrant greenery, Jai Vilas Palace is a historical gem. The palace provides stunning views of the valley and moments of serenity. Exploring this iconic site takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the region.
Hanuman Point:

Considered the best viewpoint in Jawhar Hills, Hanuman Point boasts a cultural Hanuman temple and refreshing breezes from the deep valleys. It provides a panoramic view of Jawhar, making it a must-visit spot for those seeking a mix of cultural and natural beauty.

Sunset Point:

A haven for nature lovers, Sunset Point is thoughtfully designed to allow visitors to enjoy brisk sunsets. The location features a well-designed garden, although it was under construction during the visit. A drawback is the noticeable waste issue with no proper disposal mechanism.

Shirpamal:

Steeped in historical significance, Shirpamal is believed to be the camping site of Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj during his journey to Surat. The well-maintained memorial offers a bird's eye view of the entire city, commemorating the historic meeting between Shivaji and the King of Jawhar.

Jai Sagar Dam:

A tranquil spot that doesn't attract large crowds, Jai Sagar Dam is an ideal place for relaxation. Accessible through quiet roads, it is particularly recommended for a visit in mid-August when heavy water flow enhances the scenic beauty.

Khad Khad Dam:

Following the visit to Jai Sagar Dam, Khad Khad Dam offers a unique experience. Narrow but well-maintained roads lead to the dam, where visitors can witness water flowing down the slope and a staircase. The option to soak feet in the water or trek adds to the charm.
