Chilapata Forest:
The Chilapata Forest is a dense forest in Doors, in the foot hills of Himalaya. It is near to Hansimara Town and in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal. The dense Chilpata Forest used to be the home of large number of One Horn Rhinos, large number of Asiatic Elephant, Leopard, Deer, Wild Boar, Birds etc. The beautiful Bania and Torsa River increase the wildness of the Chilapata Forest. The Nalraja Garh , which made by the Nal Kings in the Gupta Dynasty is one of the Archaeological site to visit.

'Duars' or ‘Dooars’ has emerged from 'door', the gateway to Bhutan, starting from river Teesta in the East to river Sankoshi in the west. Duars is famous for its tea gardens, forests, Rivers and Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks. There are almost 240 species of birds, 20 species of mammals and various species of reptiles and fishes available in the forestry of Duars. It has the highest population of rhinos after Kaziranga in Assam. The other important animals are Asiatic elephant, leopard, and deer.
