While it's never too late to start getting fitter, it also isn't very easy for everybody to get started. In such, setting micro goals that are specific, measurable and achievable is an evidence-based way of boosting productivity. Smaller goals are not only easier to accomplish, but also helpful in releasing dopamine - a neurotransmitter that helps you experience pleasure over your achievements (both big and small). These micro fitness goals can be used to build healthy habits and systems that in turn, bring you closer to the larger, more intimidating goal of getting fit and staying active.
