New guideline for international passengers travelling to India
Effective from january 11th
** A mandatory 7 days quarantine
** Passengers that originates or transits from "at risk" countries will undergo post arrival testing, quarantine if tested negative, stringent isolation protocol if tested positive.
**Passengers travelling from "at risk" countries must submit a sample for post-arrival covid test at the point of artival which will be self paid in nature. Passengers have to wait for the result at the airport prior to leaving or boarding a connecting flight.
**Passengers will be home quarantined for 7 days if tested negative followed with a RT-PCR teston the 8th day. Report of which they have to upload on the Air Suvidha portal which will ne monitored by the state / union tertitories. They need to further self monitor their health for the next 7 days.
** All travelers need to submit complete and factual information in a self declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal before the scheduled travel including any travel undertaken in the last 14 days. Passengers need to upload a nrgative test report which was conducted within 72 hours prior to the journey.
