Born into the illustrious royal family of Dundlod, Mallyka inherited a passion for preserving heritage from her father, Thakur Raghuvendra Singh Dundlod, whose pioneering efforts revived the indigenous Marwari horse breed through Dundlod Safaris in 1985.

Riding Through Rajasthan: A Marwari Horse Safari Adventure

In the heart of Rajasthan, where history whispers through the sands of time, an adventure awaits those with a spirit as wild as the Marwari horse. From the 2nd to the 10th of March, riders from across the globe gathered to embark on a journey through the mystical land of kings and legends.

Into the Land of Maharajas
As the sun cast its golden hue upon the ancient forts and palaces, our journey began. Mounted on majestic Marwari horses, our caravan set forth, tracing the footsteps of warriors and monarchs.

Amidst Forts and Palaces
Through rugged terrain and verdant valleys, we rode, passing by formidable forts and opulent palaces. The walls whispered secrets of bygone eras, while the breeze carried the fragrance of jasmine and sandalwood from the royal gardens. Nights were spent under the vast expanse of the desert sky, where stories were shared around crackling campfires.

Journey to Merchant Havelis
Venturing into the bustling bazaars of Rajasthan, we explored the labyrinthine alleys lined with vibrant stalls and bustling merchants. Our Marwari companions navigated the narrow streets with grace, their hooves echoing the rhythm of the vibrant life around us.

The Final Stretch
As our adventure neared its end, we traversed through the timeless landscape dotted with ancient merchant havelis. These ornate mansions stood as a testament to the prosperity of the merchants who once ruled the trade routes. Riding through the arid desert, we carried memories of camaraderie and conquest, etched in the sands of time.

With hearts full of memories and spirits rejuvenated by the boundless expanse of Rajasthan, we bid farewell to our noble steeds and the enchanting land they call home. The Marwari horse safari had not only been an adventure of a lifetime but a journey into the rich tapestry of history, culture, and camaraderie. As we parted ways, we carried with us the echoes of hoofbeats and the promise of new adventures on the horizon.

It is so special when my father @bonniedundlod shares important details and tells us stories which are a part of our local culture.This is about the temple we crossed where the king had received a boon that nothing can kill him so he agreed for the snake to attack him.The snake targeted his tongue which took his life away.There is a temple made which will keep the story alive forever.I took a small video as he speaks to all the riders and shares this with them .Each safari I learn so much from him, precious moments #dundlodfortandsafaris #fortandpalaceride #marwarihorses

This is a raw video of ashwa yoga meditation experience where it's so beautiful how our equine partners are curious and so alert while we share space with them in their home. A Baisa’s Adventures

Adventure across different parts of Shekhawati ,Rajasthan & Little rann of Kutch to Greater Rann of Kutch,Gujarat

The tours will be for 2 nights 3 days and each day will be specially curated around something different & adventurous.We are open to a customized tour for a few days depending on the local experiences one wishes to experience and a customized tour for 4 nights and five days in Shekhawati can also be arranged which will be based on horse riding for half and full day.

Mallyka Singh will be your tour leader who belongs to Dundlod, Shekhawati daughter of Thakur Raghuvendra Singh Dundlod who is the pioneer of reviving the Marwari breed back in 1985 by starting horse safaris all over Rajasthan for travellers across the globe. Dundlod fort was built in AD 1750; the ancestral home of Shekhawati clan of Rajput’s which is converted into a Heritage hotel. Close by to the fort stands proudly the Dundlod Royal Equestrian and Polo Centre which stables 70 Marwari horses. Mallyka who has an immense love for travelling & had a special connection with Marwari horses since childhood as she grew up with them. In the past she has worked in the tourism industry as an explorer who travelled the whole of Rajasthan to curate special experiences for inbound clients. She has been accompanying her father during horse safaris for many years which made her realise her love for interacting with people and adventure. Due to her strong inclination towards Marwari horses, Mallyka found her calling which has taken her back to her roots & now she wants to share her passion with not only riders but also non riders across the globe.

I have created tours based on adventure which will have an essence of one destination among the 5 days, where the guest will get an opportunity to interact & understand the local indigenous breed. The thought behind this product was to give an opportunity to a market which is looking for an experiential holiday where through the activities, one gets to be a part of the local community. All the tours will be led by her personally.
