ANEI Concludes Its Final Learning Session of 2024!

The much-anticipated “Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP)” session by Professor Elizabeth Varkey, ANEI Patient Safety Fellow 2023, was successfully conducted on 19th December. This critical topic drew an impressive number of nurses, highlighting its importance in patient safety.

The session covered essential insights into Ventilator-Associated Events (VAE), Ventilator-Associated Conditions (VAC), and VAP, with a focus on understanding how effective surveillance can prevent the progression to VAP. It was an interactive and thought-provoking discussion aimed at improving outcomes in ventilated patients.
