Bhutan Fam Trip a resounding success!
45 travel agents recently embarked on a memorable Fam Trip to the enchanting Kingdom of Bhutan. This incredible journey allowed them to experience Bhutan's unique charm firsthand, from its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage to its warm hospitality and delectable cuisine.
A highlight was a private audience with Mr. Damcho Rinzin, Director of Tourism, who provided invaluable insights into Bhutan's tourism vision and sustainability goals.
We were also honored to meet His Excellency Lyonpo Gem Tshering, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, who shared his vision for the upcoming Gelephu mindfulness city and addressed key concerns raised by travel agents, including the SDF policy and the need for better air connectivity from South India.
This Fam Trip was a remarkable success in fostering a deeper understanding of Bhutan among travel agents. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to making this event a memorable one.
