A heartfelt thank you extends to the dedicated team of Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MSCMA) and the Deputy Commissioner of South Garo Hills for their unwavering support in training local youths in the thrilling disciplines of Ziplining and Rappelling. The collaborative efforts bore fruit as 27 enthusiastic local youths actively participated in the comprehensive training program. The issuance of certificates, duly authorized by the Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association, serves as a testament to their newfound skills. Among the 27 participants, MSCMA meticulously selected 6 seniors who will play a pivotal role in the permanent operation of Ziplining and Rapelling in the district, contributing to both adventure tourism and skill development. This collective initiative underscores the power of community engagement and sets the stage for a thrilling and sustainable adventure sports culture in the region.

It is for this reason why the notion of MEMANG KOKSI was borne to create awareness through this tour and adventurous events festival amongst the people for preservation, which may serve a good purpose for establishing tourism Hub in near future Participants from various places agreed to take part in this festival.
